Day 19 - August 3

Wednesday was our first day of touring London. We did not have a set itinerary, so we let everyone wake up on their own time. We left our rented, 4-bedroom house in the Peckham area of London, rode a touring double-decker London Hop On Hop Off bus for awhile, and then jumped off when the Scouts wanted to explore on foot.

We wound up visiting Buckingham Palace to see the changing of the guard and continued on, through the park, to Westminster Pier. 

We took a water-tour to Tower Pier, at the Tower of London. This gave sore legs some time to rest while we took in the sights of centrl-London and the Scouts decided what they wanted to do next.

The weather was gorgeous today and allowed the Scouts to explore to their heart's content.
